ABOUT ME

I am an active cultural manager, curator, theoretician, futurist, speaker on new technologies & arts and creator & manager of new art spaces.

I am the creator of JARVIS, the first AI (artificial intelligence) curator in the history and founder of Spinnwerk Vienna (www.spinnwerk.io).

I am the founder of the Bucharest Biennale, Reforma Photo Fest, Creative Evolution, Pavilion journal & art center, and creart Gallery. I worked with different galleries for disseminating their message and increase the potential public spectrum as well as client numbers.

As a curator, director, and founder of different institutions I worked with artists like Erwin Wurm, Jan Kaila, Yoko Ono, AES+F, Aga Ousseinov, Naeem Mohaiemen, Sabrina Gschwandtner, Minerva Cuevas, Mona Hatoum, Asier Mendizabal, and many others.

As a professor, I held classes or lectures at the University of California, Berkeley; Lisbon University; Central University of New York; University of London; Sofia University; University of Kyiv; Art University in Budapest; etc.

I held conferences at art institutions like Witte de With, Rotterdam; Kunsthalle Vienna; Art in General, New York; Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon; Casa Encedida, Madrid, etc.

I was a speaker for Apple, MindChain, Bussiness Review, etc.

The latest exhibitions curated by me was: „Wie wir Dinge betrachten“ for European Union Council Presidency of Austria, Bucharest Biennale „Edit Your Future“, at Reforma Photo festival solo show of Austrian photojournalist Josef Polleross "Non-Objective World", "From Contemplating To Constructing Situations" (group show with Francis Alys, Minerva Cuevas, Wilfredo Prieto, Erwin Wurm) at Pavilion Center.

I wrote texts for general and academic publications like Mahkuscript, New York Art Review, Pavilion, etc.

I was a professor at University of Bucharest where I teached a course of curatorial studies & critical thinking.

The recent research paper I work it is "The key to the expanded/augumented education: data analytics".

Since January 2020 I am the founder of Spinnwerk Wien, a cultural organization

showing art and culture that responds to today’s ideas and technologies.

I am preoccupied with how communication can increase the awareness and number of public in the field of arts and how promotion can be more efficient for cultural institutions in terms of the new generations and new technologies. Increasing the number of Gen Z public can reflect in better education and raise new interest for critical thinking rewaking intellectual curiosity.

I know how to be a mediator between governmental and/or private cultural institutions with artists from different areas to articulate their work in the market with promotion and national and international dissemination.

I work with different mediums and ideas, but I believe the present is very connected to the new technologies so I use artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain to bring a new public to cultural institutions and grow the interest of the new generation to culture, art, deep knowledge.

Respected theoreticians and practitioners like Henk Slager, Anne Barlow, Jose Fernando Diaz, Beral Madra, Mona Hatoum, Chantal Mouffe, Erwin Wurm and more can recommend me.

I was born in 1970 in Amsterdam, I lived in San Francisco, Berlin, Bucharest, New York. In the present, I live in Vienna.
